Today I got to take a little break and meet friends for lunch to celebrate Phyllis' 83rd birthday! Phyllis is a wonderful person and an amazing quilter. She is a longarm quilter and I would say a huge percentage of the quilts shown at the guild meeting are "quilted by Phyllis" (and they all look great!) I hope I am still quilting strong at 83!
This evening I quilted and put the binding on four quilts in 2 hours 45 minutes. Do you think that is some kind of record? Well, I have to admit that the quilts were all only 6" x 22" and required minimal quilting, but.... I am still working on hand sewing the binding.
