Another Re-do

 I hand appliquéd this block using the back-basting method, but unfortunately I oriented it the wrong way on the background fabric so there was no way to trim it to five inches and have it work.  I usually oversize the background piece so I can trim it later, but even with doing that, the orientation was such that it wouldn't work.  So... I had to do it over!

Hopscotch - Machine pieced - 19 pieces

Lynette's Diamond - Hand appliquéd - 2 pieces

The one on the left is my do-over, positioned correctly.  I used a lighter fabric for the appliqué too which I like better, so it was worth doing it over!
