Best of Show at UQSM

Here is the Best of Show winner at the Utah Quilting and Sewing Marketplace.

This beautiful quilt is The Twisted Sister pieced and quilted by Margaret Solomon Gunn.

"Fussy-cut hand-pieced hexagon stars are appliquéd onto silk. This quilt shares many similarities to my 2015 quilt Bouquet Royale, but this "sister" is a bit more on the wild side! Quilting designs are original and hand-guided."

I saw Bouquet Royale in the show last year and when I saw this one, I wasn't surprised that it was also made by Margaret.  I'm a huge fan of her machine quilting!
