Here are some photos of Ricky Tims quilts that were hanging or were shown at The Quilt Show taping last weekend.

Ricky's work is amazing - from a distance and up close!  His machine quilting is really something.  If you haven't watched his DVD The Grand Finale, I highly recommend it!  It's a great tutorial on machine quilting and piped bindings etc.  So much great information.

This little wall hanging is all thread work.  The one pictured below features playing around with the decorative stitches on the sewing machine.

This is one of the first quilts he ever made!  He plans to turn it into a pattern.


My daughter Michelle would probably love the cowboy boot quilt and at the bottom is one of his Rhapsody quilts, which he teaches workshops on.

It was a fun day being inspired by these amazing quilters!
